"That’s good if you like it. What else do you like?" he couldn’t help but ask directly.

Briar felt happy when she heard that. Her face was literally flushing. She wanted to look at him as she answered the question, but knowing how shy she would be if he locked his gaze with hers; she decided to not do so.

If they looked at each other, she might end up forgetting other things and that would be bad.

Honestly, Briar didn’t have a lot of likes. She liked taking care of the family; she wanted to live in peace without any external distractions. Cooking food for everyone and watching everyone eat with smiles on their faces. I really like that," Briar elaborated further as she raised her head to look at him and added, "Above all, I like you. No, I love you, hubby. I want you to know that."

Briar hastily confessed her feelings, something that she didn’t even plan to do, and once those words were out, she suddenly panicked and hurriedly looked down, cursing herself and wishing for the earth to crack open and swallow her whole.

Meanwhile, Logan was in a state of shock as he didn’t expect her to confess to her with a sound mind. He was used to hearing her dreamy confessions as well as being molested, but the thought of hearing her mentioning those three words wasn’t something that he expected to hear any time soon. And yet, when it was said, he found himself frozen for a moment before a grin blossomed on his face.

He looked down on Briar, who was probably too shy and in a state of regret right now, and couldn’t help but feel that he found himself a treasure.

He suddenly raised her head with his hand, forcing her to look at him, and he was stunned.

Her skin felt soft. It made his heart race at the thought of how it would feel once he started playing with it in the future.

Looking at her reddened eyes, he swallowed hard as those dark thoughts emerged in his mind once again.

He couldn’t help but imagine how beautiful she would look when being bullied.

Meanwhile, Briar, watching Logan’s miniscule expression, wanted to badly roll on the bed in celebration. This man’s thoughts were indeed skewed, but she loved them so much.

He gripped her chin a bit roughly, making her groan in pain and at that time, she nearly sneered loudly when she felt his body reacting beneath the sheets.

She really wanted to dance on Selena’s grave and ask her if she had ever seen Logan’s real side in the many years of their marriage that she was so proud of.

When Briar heard that, she raised her head and looked puzzlingly at him, wondering why he was asking that, but she still answered honestly, "Um. We will be going to the aquarium tomorrow. Do you want to join us?" and asked anticipatingly, though she knew that Logan wouldn’t join.

Logan could tell what Briar was trying to do, so he flicked her forehead playfully, earning a disgruntled groan from her as she sulked while looking at him.

Logan chuckled helplessly as he rubbed the part he had flicked and responded to her earlier words, "There is something that I need to do, so I can’t join you but the two of us. How about we have a dinner date? We haven’t gone on any dates since our marriage!"
