James’s POV

"Should I just marry both of them?" I finally said it.

At first I thought I would let my girl marry Aaron’s but Rion was born and I can clearly see he likes her. Ah no, I’m sure behaving as if I’m losing my sanity thinking about a toddler’s marriage when they were born not long ago.

"James, are you drunk?" Aaron asked, making a turn toward him.

"Ah no", I said.

"Then why are you saying something rubbish? Don’t you know we share the same blood. And it is a taboo", he said. I can see he was this clock to snap when i bring this topic but then i realized i didn’t tell about my mom’s reality till now to anyone.

I placed my hand on his shoulder and brought him to a corner.

"Ayla, look after him ok? Or your aunt will beat me", i know it is quiet awkward but i ’m scared of Chloe the most.

"And yeah in the table there is his powder solution so feed him if he cries", i said. She nodded listening to me so obediently and I again turned toward Aaron.

"Why did you bring me here? As if you are about to say something secret", he said.

"Yeah it is kind of a secret. I didn’t even talk about this to anyone." I said.

"What is it? Why do you look so serious? Is there any issue? Or you fought with Chloe again? Should I talk to her?" he kept on panicking but it is completely different then Chloe. I’m not sure where I should start from but the moment I thought of connecting a different relationship with Aaron I started investigating my mom’s past. I sometimes used to ask dad also how he met mom or how they loved each other even though it was quite a troublesome question now still he said. He saw mom at college when he was studying about business. But he was not too happy while talking about her as if there were some loophole in that conversation.

He even told me it was not easy for him to see her for free but it wasn’t the reason for working part time but..... He didn’t tell me.

But he didn’t utter a single word. I even saw Chloe behind him, making me even more shocked.

"C-chloe, when did you come here?" I stuttered.

When I looked at her she was barely holding her tears. No no no I don’t want her to know about this. I wanted to take my origin to my grave even though I need to lie every single day. I don’t mind but I don’t want her to look at me with sympathetic eyes. It hurt me the most.

"James", Aaron tried to bring me out of my thoughts.

"Chloe, it is not what it looks like", I smiled.

"I was just joking with him from a fictional story", i don’t know how long i can keep up with the smile but she came and hugged me.

"It is really a joke", I said again.

"Yeah I believe you." She didn’t ask anything but went along with me.

I didn’t cry. I held my tears so well as if I was a genius.

"So you’re still stuck with the marriage thing?" Chloe asked. Aaron was too sitting beside me.

"I kind of want it. But only if they like each other in future", yeah i don’t want to force marriage or i will look like a trash parent for sure.

"Of course all want that", Chloe said too.

"So from when he is up to the marriage thing", Aaron asked with a smile on his face.

Chloe laughed at first then said, "The day your son Eon was born."

Yeah, their son’s name is Eon King.

"Woah so fast thinking", he is teasing me but i can’t help it.

Yeah of course when i know he has a son i thought of having a girl for myself so that i can let them get married but Rion being born and seeing Ayla and Rion made me think the same again. Even though Ayla is almost seven years older than him. Still I don’t know why I think of this.

"Hey, come out of your imagination", Aaron said.

"Yeah yeah it will come true one day", I’m really bragging while stealing glances from both Ayla and Rion.

"They are fine. You do not have to worry", Chloe said, patting my arm.

Yeah i know they are but as a parents the security kept on growing a lot more then i used to behave.

After a while Aaron left with Ayla. Rion cried for so long that I had to place him on my shoulder and let him walk for an hour. Because that is what he likes the most and the person should be me as well even though he likes Chloe a lot.

"So roaming done?" I saw Chloe by the door.

I walked near her.

"Yeah he has fallen asleep."

"His eyes were so puffy after crying even though he is still so little. But I can see the puffiness." I said.

"Yeah he kind of likes her a lot."

"Or did you play some trick?" i don’t know why she thinks i can do whatever i want but they are behaving the same way i wanted. Rion being so close to her is such a happy moment for me. Nowadays even Ayla comes on weekends. She stopped going to her piano class because she didn’t want to stop spending time with him.

"Now why are you grinning like an idiot", she mocked me again.

"I’m not grinning but I want to see their future for a very long time being with each other." I said.

"Just like us?" I teased her.

"I’m going to stay my entire life with Rion not you old man", damn that hurts.

"You are no longer going to stay young forever", she smiled.

"Yeah I know so let’s be with each other always."
