I woke up from my sleep, realizing it was all a dream.

"Ayla, you were sleeping for a long time," Jenny said.

"Is that a pleasant dream that you are having?" they asked, making me lose myself in my own world.

"I can’t say it was good but I can’t even say it was bad," I said while looking toward an empty space.

"What do you mean?" they asked.

"What do I mean?"

I smiled.

I didn’t even forget whatever I saw in my dream. Everything was so vivid, as if all of this had happened just yesterday. The face, the voice, everything was so melodious, making me want to go there and hug him, expressing my feelings for him, but then I realized....

It was not only a pleasant dream, but it was also one of my nightmares.

The way I saw my old self there all shivering and feeling being self-conscious hurt me like crazy. I couldn’t describe the feeling. I can’t say is it my fear or is it something related to my memory loss? I have no idea.

"Yeah, she came toward me and pushed the woman from me, kissing my lips like there is no tomorrow," as he said, their eyes turned toward me.

"But that is not where it stopped. But later when I came out of the restaurant I saw someone strangling her so I couldn’t stop myself and knocked on the man saving her. It is not a scripted movie, but as you can see, that is how I get entangled with Ayla, the love of my life," he said.

How I wish you could have fallen for me in this way, but it is only I could hope.

"Ayla, is it the day after your brother came to our place?" they asked.

I nodded.

"So, did you talk with them again?" Jenny asked.

I didn’t say anything.

"What are you guys talking about?" Xenon asked.

"Don’t you know what is going on with her and her family?" Jenny said.

"What do I need to know?" he asked.

"Ayla, you two are really in a relationship, right?" they asked while his phone rang at the same time.

"Excuse me!" he left.

"Ayla, tell us what is going on with you? You are again scaring the shit out of us," they kept on saying.

I took a deep breath.

"Yeah, you guys are right. We are not in a relationship." Yeah, I said it.

"Then what he said?"

"Yeah of course we met that way but we are not in a relationship but you can say we are like friends with benefits," I said while trying hard not to show my sorrowful expression.

"Then why are you guys lying to us and pretending to be in a relationship?"

"I can’t say this to you for now, but don’t ask him anything and let it be," I did it.

They looked at me with those pity eyes again to remind me of my dad. Ha, who am I even thinking of? Dad? Is he really my dad? I don’t know, but everything seems out of order for me. I slowly feel as if I’m going to lose myself if this keeps on continuing.

"Ah no nothing," I said.

"So you called your dad?" they asked.

"Why? Didn’t I tell you how many times he has been calling on the landline?" they said, making me think.

"Didn’t I?" Jenny said.

"I thought maybe Kylie did, so maybe I forgot?"

"Jenny, didn’t I tell you to inform her?" Kylie said.

"Oh god could you please be silent for a while?" I raised my voice.

"Ah sorry!!"

"Don’t worry, I will call him", I said and walked out of my class when my eyes fell on someone which I least wanted to see, still my feet ran toward the destination.

I kept on running from one floor to another floor, searching for him when I finally found him in the parking place.

"Wait!!!!!" I shouted while I was out of breath.

"Yes?" he turned.

Yeah, I was right. It’s him, that bastard James.

"James, it’s you, right?" I asked while I was out of breath.

"Yeah, it’s James and you?" as he confirmed a harsh punch landed on his face, making him fall to the surface.

"Ah, how dare you?" He tried to get up, but I kicked his ankle, making him keep falling on the surface like the way he is right now.

"How dare I? Ha, I can’t believe you are asking me this?" I said, raising my brows.

"Ah, this punk keeps forgetting what he has done."

"But who the hell are you", he said, still circling around dirt on the surface.

"Who am I?"

"You really don’t know, or you are just trying to act in front of me," I said.

"I really don’t know who you are."

"Oh, ok then let me introduce myself. This is Ayla White, who once you did fake dating on the order of my brother. Do you remember now?" I asked.

"Ayla? Is it really you?" he asked while I kicked his knee.

"Ouch, why are you hitting me? Let me speak first", he said and got up from the floor while I was still standing with patience.

"Ok now speak," I said.

"I can’t believe you are here. Gosh, it’s like what I wished is to keep coming for me," it keeps making me even angrier than before.

"Ok, don’t be angry and let me explain."

"So you are still holding what happened years ago?"

"Of course, I do as it may not affect you in a lot of ways but it did me."

"I lost my value in front of all."

"I lost the ability to trust."

"And who made me like this?"

"Isn’t it you who made me feel the most miserable?"

"And I don’t even know why you did this when I didn’t tell you to agree with me whatsoever but I just confessed my freaking feelings to you when I wasn’t even aware of myself. But what have you done? You made a fool out of me knowing I was nothing but a kid? You were happy right laughing at me and making a fool out of me?"

"Calm down Ayla. I know whatever happened is because of me but let me say my side too," He said, covering my mouth.

"I, too, regret whatever happened that day. I never wanted to act with you as I too had a soft corner for you but when Jace said it would break you if you couldn’t handle a heartbreak then I agree with that and I’m not justifying whatever I did but whatever I did is I’m not ashamed of it.

But yeah, the kiss..... that was an accident. It was never my intention to kiss Yona, but it was just a flow of the moment. I took a sip of alcohol so I was tipsy as well but I forgot the fact that you too came with us and things happened in a hurry and the situation occurred."

"Your brother?" I asked.
