"Dad, Ayla vanished again", Jace shouted before I could say.

"What are you saying?" Mrs white came forward first.

"Yes mom, this guy came running here to see if she came here or not and telling me now they wouldn’t be able to find her anywhere", he said, making everyone glare at me.

"I did but it was switched off." That made me lose all my hope. Still, on my way, I informed my people to try to search for her but no one answered me as we tried to search for her later.

I have no idea how long it has been but all went to their room to finish their work and there is no noise lingering in my ears anymore but the mumble of my daughter.

I’m still watching him from upstairs holding his daughter in his arms. It’s already 1 AM but two of them are still in pain. Just for me. I clenched my fist but soon I felt a hand above my shoulder but when I turned I saw Chloe which made me push her away.

"What are you doing?" she yelped.

"What am I doing? Don’t you know that better than me? What am I doing?" I asked.

"I-i don’t know." she stuttered.

"You don’t know? Waa, I never knew you could act so fucking well."

"James, you are insulting me," she said.

"Insulting? Could you please tell me who is actually insulting whom? Isn’t it you who keeps insulting me?" I asked.

"Don’t you remember what you did that night despite me refusing to have a baby?" I asked making her turn her eyes away from me.

My shoulders are in pain after a long trip.

"I just want to sleep", I mumbled in tiredness and entered my room but as soon as I turned on the light I found Chloe was sitting on my bed wearing a lace nightgown which was barely hiding her body.

"Chloe? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I was waiting for you," she replied.

"But I never told you to wait for me," I said.

"But I wanted to", she said and came toward me slowly removing my coat making it fall on the floor kissing my sweaty body.

"Chloe, I said I’m not going to do anything so stop it. You don’t need to lower yourself so much", I said.

"It’s ok even if I have to lower myself but I want to love you.

It’s been days since I got to see you and touch you. Please don’t defy me and let me." her voice sure is tempting as well as her touch but I’m barely hanging on a cliff.

Still, I pushed her.

"Don’t. I’m tired so return to your room." I said and walked toward my bed but she hold me from behind touching her entire body with mine.

"Chloe, don’t you dare do anything", I said but before I could push her any further she pressed her lips to mine as if she was feeding me something sweet yet arousing.

"Don’t push me away please", all of sudden I found her face even more irresistible than before. She looks so pretty as well as tempting, making the junior me harden inside my pants trying to come out.

"James, please forgive me," she said holding my hand but slapped her hand and left the room.
