Chapter 269: Lost in Ecstasy (2)

Ronan hadn’t slept since Ger lost his life to the dragon. Every time he dared to close his eyes for more than a fleeting moment, the same haunting image plagued him- the dragon collapsing atop him and the lake swallowing them whole before they had to run to safety.

He frowned whilst his tongue worked to lap up the juices of the elf riding his mouth above him. Even now, with his eyes open, he was thinking about it. Glancing to the side, he realised the woman who tried to get him to go to breakfast had taken him up on his offer and had disrobed and was currently stroking herself.

"Come here," he ordered, allowing her to also hover above his face. "You’ll take turns."

His hands reached up between both their thighs, allowing him to concentrate on making them grow wetter.

Someone clapping on the side made him look in their direction, peering over one of the woman’s backsides, though his fingers did not stop moving, nor did the women working on his length.

"I must say, Roach. This makes quite the sight. I didn’t think you had it in you," Fiza giggled as though the whole thing was entertaining.

It annoyed him.

"Either join us or piss off," Ronan growled back. He’d never been so impolite to a woman before, not even Cilv, but he wasn’t in the mood.

Ronan could accept Axel’s disappointment and concern, but this fae was only looking to be entertained, and he knew it wasn’t from watching him have a small orgy.

Fiza watched Ronan, entertained by the array of bodies and their positions. This was nothing in the fae courts. If he wasn’t susceptible to their ways, he might be someone of use, but alas, he was human.

Now she’d seen what made Axel leave looking so concerned, and the details she learnt to be true, she wanted to solve what Axel could not. "Ronan, if you do not go to breakfast, I will-"

"You will, what?"

Fiza frowned, her head swivelling to the side to the deep, baritone voice of Garrett. She blinked profusely at him. When did he... He looked furious.

Fiza’s gaze moved to the orgy before her. Ah, Garrett didn’t have the best impression of her, and he most likely assumed she would join in. She didn’t know why, but it irked her.

"You know what.. I’ll let you sort this out." Fiza pointed at Ronan, who seemed to be releasing his load in one of the women’s mouths, his hands now holding her down balls deep whilst he took a breather from the women sitting above his face.

Fiza walked past Garrett without another word, but he reached out, halting her from moving any farther. "*When are you leaving?*" He hissed, his body tense, agitation and anger still emanating from him.

Fiza rolled her eyes. "*Tonight.*"

"*Find me after you see Evanna.*"

"*You’re not my boss,*" she hissed, her nose crinkling. For the first time, Garrett had seen the night fae truly annoyed. She’d always hidden her emotions behind sarcasm, jests and sexual innuendos.

"*I have a job for you,*" he hissed back, his grip tightening on her wrist.

Fiza glared at him before yanking her arm out of his hold. "*Fine,*" she snapped, fleeing swiftly out of the doors.

Garrett’s gaze remained on the doors closing behind her a moment more before he looked back at the state Ronan was in. The women were climbing off him now, everyone spent. Garrett tilted his head back and pinched the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes as he gritted out,

"*Leave. Now.*"

His voice was dark, laced with ice. The servants were well experienced to understand when someone was a true threat. They also knew who Garrett was. His features indicate his heritage as well as his well-known name among the elven kingdoms.

They fled Ronan’s side and grabbed their clothes, putting them on as they darted towards the doors.

"What are you doing here?" Ronan asked with a long sigh. He was looking sorry for himself. It annoyed Garrett.

Instead of answering, he stopped the last servant from leaving; she was mostly fully clothed, unlike the others. "*Draw him a bath. Now.*"

She dipped her head and returned to the water closet.

"Get up," he snapped, wanting to twist this boy’s neck instead of acting like a disapproving mother. But as soon as he saw Fiza enter Ronan’s rooms, he couldn’t stop himself from getting involved.

That little minx...

Ronan flopped onto his front and covered his head with a cushion, cursing Garrett for scaring the women. Garrett followed behind the servant after and grabbed a bowl of icy cold water. His lips tugged into a smirk the moment the water splashed on Ronan’s back, and he screamed, hopping up and out of bed.

"Wash the filth off of you, and come to breakfast," Garrett ordered, dropping the bowl on the bed and crossing his arms against his chest.

Ronan huffed, sauntering and almost stumbling towards the wash closet, his attitude uncaring. Garrett narrowed his eyes at the man even though he couldn’t see him. "I’d suggest you be quick. I am meant to be guarding her highness. Instead, I am babysitting you," he said through clenched teeth.

Ronan dropped into the tub, wincing at the idea of Evanna going without a guard. The woman knew how to defend herself and even fought well against the king! But she hasn’t had time to grieve over Ger. No, she was thrown straight into this mess.

The servant girl started to wash his body, massaging him and nibbling on his ear. Ronan almost allowed himself to be swept away into a woman’s embrace again so he didn’t have to think about anything. But his thoughts wouldn’t trail away from Evanna. This palace was horrid and cold, and he couldn’t allow his friend to be two guards less because he couldn’t stomach facing reality.

Ronan snatched the soap bar away from the servant girl and waved her off so he could wash himself quickly. He didn’t like Garrett, and he didn’t like his festivities interrupted, but he would clean up for her.
