“Morning has already passed.” Clodia gave Muria a blank stare and corrected, “Moreover, you should go to the White Jade Divine Palace now. The representatives of the Giants and leaders of The Sea Clan have been waiting for you all morning.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.” Diana, the half-human, half-snake Six-armed Naga bowed her head and responded, “For you to remember my name is an immense honor for me.”

“Hmm, as flamboyant as ever.” Muria muttered under his breath upon hearing the flattering words from the Naga leader with a peculiar and enchanting face below.

“I was delayed by some special matters today, that’s why I am late.” Muria thick-skinnedly explained to the Giant and Sea Clan leaders below. He certainly could not say he was late because he overslept. That would be too embarrassing.

Muria’s words caused the faces of the Storm Giants, who had followed him into the grand hall and were stationed around, to twitch. They all knew why Muria was late today but none were foolish enough to expose his lie. It wasn’t a matter of life and death.
