"Let’s talk about this later," he said without even turning around as he then swung the large door open after giving her ample time to get dressed, coldly exiting the room, no different from his usual self, and shut the door behind him.

"Sir," the brown-haired lady spoke, keeping a distance from the room as she noticed a young woman on the bed, having a slight idea of what was happening in the room.

"What is it?" Lucian demanded, his fury evident in his tone.

He wasn’t annoyed by the fact that he was interrupted, rather his mind was a mess now that he had snapped out of his wild desires. How did he even think about doing that to ’her’? That question left him on edge of his emotions.

"Well... that lady is requesting to meet you. She said if I tell you then, you would surely go visit her. I am here to guide you."

"Tell her it’s late now. It won’t be appropriate for me to visit her in her bedroom. I will go tomorrow."

"But..."

"Leave," Lucian clenched his teeth and entered the room once again.

He turned off his lights, seeing Cynthia had already arranged her clothes and was now covering her body with the blanket.

He slowly slid into the bed so as to not wake her up and turned to face her, only to see her back. He sighed, turning his back to her as well. He closed his eyes, his mind still racing as the scenes of his earlier deeds replayed in his mind.

"I must have lost my life," he mumbled.

Heading Kael’s voice, Lucian’s fury became stronger.

"Why didn’t you stop me?"

Keal chuckled, and soon it turned into laughter.

Lucian kept quiet, unable to respond to Keal for the first time. Keal constantly mocked him and it was nothing new yet this time, it irked him, making his blood boil in anger. After all, Lucian, himself, was left speechless at his own questions. He did tell her that they would discuss this later, but he didn’t know what to say.
