Chapter 177: A Symphony Of Violence

Leo’s eyes snapped upward as a massive wild devil that looked like it was on steroids and went through some horrifying experiments that made it stronger plummeted toward him from a random portal.

’Oh shit!’ he thought with wide eyes.

He cast Mana Barrier, a shimmering shield flaring to life just in time. The beast crashed atop it, snarling as it hammered down, each blow making the barrier tremble. ’What is this beast?’ he internally complained.

Moments later, Leo vanished and appeared not far from the devil, who was already charging at him while letting out a roar that shook the ground before swinging at him. He ducked under the massive fist.

Without waiting, he sent mana to his fist, hitting the enemy in the stomach. The impact caused a boom, sending the enemy stumbling backward. Leo continued attacking and landed dozens of punches.

The devil monster was overwhelmed, causing its aura to grow stronger as it blocked one of his blows. It smiled before landing a deadly headbutt that sent his head spinning, forcing him to cast Fireball at the enemy.

An explosion helped him clear some space between them just as he cast Thunderbolts and sent the wave of spells sliced through the air and slammed into the devil. The creature let out an agony-filled roar.

’’What is this damn thing? My magic isn’t doing anything to it!’’ he complained just before dodging several attacks.

Leo felt a rush of wind graze his face as he struck back, slamming his fist into the creature’s elbow with a sickening snap that echoed through the air. The two traded ferocious blows, fists flying in a brutal dance that left both of them bloodied and reeling.

The air crackled with power as Leo faced the towering devil, its horns glinting under the night sky. Moments later, the power skyrockets as the ground trembled, fissures splitting the earth as it roared, a sound that shook the bones of the world itself.

’Oh shit! It’s getting stronger!’ he thought with wide eyes.

Leo’s eyes narrowed, his breath steady despite the injuries littering his body. Without hesitation, he surged forward, Mana coursing through his veins like a liquid fire that was fueling him.

As he got close, the Devil swung its claws, tearing through the air with a shriek. He ducked under the attack, the wind of the strike ruffling his hair, and retaliated with a blazing uppercut that connected with its jaw.

Leo quickly rolled aside just in time as the impact sent shards of rock flying. He sprang to his feet, casting Mana Barrier as the next strike crashed against it, fracturing the air with a thunderous boom.

It shuddered but held, though he gritted his teeth as the strain pulsed through his arms, causing them to shake. With a shout, he dropped the shield and charged, driving his shoulder into the Devil’s midsection.

The force lifted the beast off its feet, hurling it back into a jagged outcrop that shattered on impact. Dust swirled as the devil rose, its chest heaving, a gash oozing blood across its abdomen.

’’At least I can hurt you,’’ he teased the monster. ’’The devils are useless and when I catch your king again, I’ll beat him black and blue to show him who the boss is.’’

When the enemy heard this, it bared its fangs and unleashed a torrent of hellfire that scorched the earth black. Leo swiftly twisted mid-step, summoning a gust of Mana to deflect the blaze, but the heat singed his arm, leaving a blistering red mark.

’’Arghhh! You sly fucker!’ Leo complained with a hiss.

Undeterred, he closed the distance and swung a Mana-charged fist into the foe’s ribs. A sickening crack, but the devil’s retaliation was a backhand that caught him across the chest, sending him skidding across the ground, blood trickling from a split lip.

Breathing hard, Leo pushed himself up, his shirt torn and stained with blood. The devil got closer, limping slightly, one arm hanging limp from a shattered elbow. Its eyes burned with unyielding malice.

’’Seems like the Devil King is desperate to get rid of me,’’ he muttered while wiping blood from his eyes.

With a roar, the devil lunged again, claws slashing toward his throat. He met the assault head-on, weaving through the strikes with all the speed he could muster. Moments later, he landed a brutal kick to the knee, forcing the devil to buckle.

He followed that up with a powerful elbow to its temple. The impact staggered the beast, a spray of blood painting the ground. But the devil wasn’t done. It grabbed his arm with its good hand, claws sinking into his flesh, and hurled him skyward.

As Leo flew through the sky, he thought with wide eyes. ’What the fuck just happened?’

While plummeting toward the ground like a comet, he channeled Mana into a blazing spear of light. He hurled the projectile at the enemy and moments later, it pierced the devil’s shoulder with a wet thud, pinning it to the earth with a crash.

Leo landed hard, his ankle twisting beneath him, pain shooting up his leg as blood seeped from the gashes across his body. The devil tore free with a howl, its shoulder mangled, black blood pooling beneath it.

He rose unsteadily, his chest heaving, every muscle screaming. The two stood locked in a moment of silence, battered and bleeding. Leo with a swollen eye and torn flesh, the devil with a broken arm and gaping wounds.

Neither gave up, their gazes burning with defiance as the battlefield smoldered around them, a testament to their relentless clash. When the demon army caught up, the chaos shocked them.

Leo charged headlong at the Devil even though the pain flared through his body with every step. The hulking creature loomed before him, its movements sluggish yet deliberate, matching his own pace as agony gnawed at his limbs.

He cast aside all regard for himself and unleashed a barrage of Supernova Punches. The force rippled through the Devil’s thick hide, charring flesh and cracking bone beneath the onslaught.

A guttural, rage-fueled roar tore from Leo’s throat as he pressed the attack. The Devil retaliated, its claws ripped into his flesh, peeling skin away in jagged strips to expose raw muscle and bone.

Booms echoed across the battlefield, the sound of each explosive punch clashing with the wet snaps of bones, a symphony of violence as the two battered each other without relenting.

Astra, Veladra, and Roxy watched as Leo battled with the monstrous beast that was pushing him to his limit. While the three women watched this, the blonde commented with wide eyes. ’’What is the creature our husband is fighting?’’

’’Can Leo win?’’ Veladra asked with a concerned voice.

’’Look,’’ Astra commented. ’’It looks like he’s winning. Diablo is slowing down and can’t keep up with Leo.’’

Following this, the three women watched as Leo continued striking at the devil before they watched the enemy drop to its knees. Moments later, they watched him jump in the air before landing a powerful punch.

The monster’s head erupted in a grisly spray of brain matter and shredded flesh that stained the ground. With Diablo finally dead, Astra turned to Lamia and Amber, her voice steady despite the carnage.

’’Quickly, give him your blood to help him regenerate. His wounds are worse than anything I’ve ever witnessed,’’ she ordered.

When the two knights heard this, they rushed forward, followed by the others. As the group of women reached Leo, he stood there, covered in blood, half his body ruined by the enemy’s claws.

He glanced at them with a smile and spoke in an exhausted voice. ’’I need something to drink. My mouth is dry.’’

Amber darted forward, positioning herself in front of him in an instant, tilting her head to expose her neck. The women watched as his red eyes flared with a predatory gleam, his fangs lengthening just before they sank into the young woman’s tender flesh.

Roxy appeared beside them and started casting healing magic that helped with the regeneration. Soon enough, Astra noticed the lacerations closing up across his body as he drank more blood.

She stepped forward while speaking. ’’Let me have a go Amber, I want to feel the sensation once again.’’

The succubus knight nodded before getting out of the way as Leo grabbed her by the waist and bit into her neck, which made the Demon Queen moan. ’’Mmmmmhh~~ I’ve missed feeling this so much.’’
