After they had discussed, they thanked Dr. Song for his help and headed home for lunch.

Once they reached home, Li Chuxi and Meimei were seated on the sofa, waiting for the both of them to return home.

"My babies," she smiled at the both of them with an amiable smile but it faded when she recalled that she had two kids who were waiting for her.

"Mom, what is wrong?" Li Chuxi asked as she stared at her with an observant face.

"Nothing, I just got a fly into my eyes," Xin Yan gave a silly excuse as she turned to look at Li Qiang with a subtle smile. She still could not understand why she was very observant.

Li Chuxi stared at her with a strange look. For the first time since she met her mother, she felt that she was somewhat different.

"Are you sure?" Meimei asked with a frown, she might not be as sensitive as Li Chuxi, but she was also able to tell that there was something wrong with her.

"Everything is fine, do not bother," Xin Yan insisted. She did not want them to be worried about her.

"Have you had lunch?" Xin Yan asked, effectively changing the topic.

"Yes, we have," Meimei answered, feeling hyperactive.

Nothing eventful happened during the rest of the day. The family watched movies all day long before they retired back to their rooms.

The next morning, Li Chuxi woke up, sneaking out of the house immediately.

She sneakily brought him in ahd asked him to have his seat.

"Why have you decided to come clean to my parents?" Li Chuxi asked with her hands folded.

"I cannot deal with the guilt anymore and besides, you are a little girl, you should act your age," he rolled his eyes at her and she scoffed.

She had actually missed the bantering with him.

"I will wake them up," she informed him as Meimei appeared.

"Uncle Zheng!" She exclaimed as she ran to him.

"Sh!"

"Be quiet!"

The both of them whispered at the same time and she pouted her lips before she carefully tiptoed to their spot.

"Why are you here?" She asked.

"He wants to tell the truth, I wonder why he decided that, I thought we had agreed that we would let them find out on their own, and besides, they are also working on regaining their memories," Xin Yan frowned.

That was what was on her mind. Again, she proved that she had a mentality which was more than her age.

"What do you mean by that?" They suddenly heard a very familiar voice, the voice belonged to Li Qiang and at once, their heads snapped towards the stairs.

"Dad," Meimei and Li Chuxi chorused as they swallowed slightly. This was not the way they wanted them to find out.

"I asked a question, Li Chuxi what do you mean by what you said?" He asked as he casually strode down the stairs.

"And who is this?" He asked as he finally reached the foot of the stairs.

"Good morning sir," Zheng immediately stood as he greeted while he secretly wiped his sweat. He did not expect to meet Li Qiang, the one who is known as the king of hell, the Yama of the business world.

"Who are you?" Li Qiang asked, his brows furrowed. He was also suspicious of him, his kids seemed close to him.

"Uhm sir, I have something to say to you, I believe it will be very beneficial to you," Zheng immediately spoke up, he did not want to be thrown out without fulfilling his mission.

"And why should I listen to anything you say?" Right now, Li Qiang had already taken a seat on the single sofa as he looked on with an authoritative aura, which caused Zheng to feel pressured.

"It is concerned with your twins," he finally let out and this time around, Li Qiang sat upright as he stared at him with a profound look on his face.

"What do you know about them?" He asked with a grim look on his face.

Meimei and Li Chuxi shared glances. Does this mean that their parents had already regained their memories?

"Does this mean you have regained your memories?" Zheng blurted out the question.

"You know about my memory loss?" Li Qiang asked with a frown. Li Qiang felt like he was a bit trustworthy, therefore he restrained his aura and gestured for him to have his seat.

"It will be nice if your wife is here, sir, she also needs to know about her kids," Zheng suggested, he actually needed someone who could control Li Qiang’s temper.

"She is asleep and I am not ready to disturb her and as you can see, you are the one who is early," Li Qiang said as he pointed towards the clock.

Zheng chuckled nervously as he looked towards the clock. It read 7:15am, truly, he was the one who was early.

"I want to leave the country after telling you the truth, I do not want to have anything to do with this country anymore," he spoke with a regretful smile and for some reason, Li Qiang actually felt some pity for him as he could feel that he had a story to tell.

"Go on, I will listen and inform my wife," Li Qiang sounded pride while he mentioned the word, ’wife.’

Zheng heaved a sigh of relief and the kids looked at him, their hearts heating fastly. Finally the truth will be revealed and they will be able to acknowledge their parents without any fear anymore.

Zheng told the story and with each sentence told, Li Qiang clenched his fists. It was the same with his memories, no difference except that the story was told from an outsider’s point of view and it was more understandable.

"I know all of that, who are my kids and where are they? Do you know if they are fine?" He asked questions after questions, his eyes red as he was close to losing his temper. Of course, Zheng had bailed out on his brother, he could not bear the burden anymore.

"Your kids are closer than you ever expected, I had taken care of them since they were young, they also just found out you are their parents and they were sent to you under disguise, they wanted to help you regain your memories," Zheng said cryptically but Li Qiang was smart enough to figure out who he was talking about.

He turned to look at the two females who smiled at him. They knew that he must have figured out.

"Are you really my kids?" He asked as he left the seat and approached the girls who were visibly excited that he had found out who they were.

"My kids," he called out with an hoarse voice. He could not believe it, his kids were right under his nose and he did not suspect anything.

He should have known. The closeness he felt towards them, he had never felt that way with any other person. But he was able to warm up with them even if it was not a month yet.

"Daddy," the kids chorused excitedly, their voices and faces filled with various emotions.

He did not say anything but he immediately engulfed them into an hug, a very tight one at that. He did not want to let them go.

He found his kids, his babies, he never had thought that he will end up as a father to two beautiful girls.

"I am very happy to have you both as my kids," he said to them after they disengaged from the hug.

"We are happy to have you as our dad, you know, it was torture not being able to really to acknowledge you as our dad," Meimei pouted her lips as she looked at him with dewy eyes and his heart clenched in pain.

He could understand her pain, especially when grandma Xin showed how much she did not want her in their family.

"Or when you adopted me, I felt really bad, you are clearly my parents, why do you need to adopt me again?" Li Chuxi aired her own share of grievances.

Li Qiang could only sigh with regret. He could never understand what his kids had passed through.

"I promise that this is the first and last time, you will never have to lack parental love, your mom and I are ready to shower you both with lots of love and care, you will not lack anything because we are ready to take care and make up for the lost years," Li Qiang promised and the kids nodded, they knew their dad was capable of his promises and they did not need to fret.
