Chapter 106: 104 | Official Confession

Blue was not in the best of moods. There was nothing fun about the celebration he was partaking in.

Ken had rented out the entire restaurant for the cast and crew. It was the kind that was divided into roomy private compartments. And Blue was sharing the same private room as Ken, Adonis, River, and two other behind-the-screen staff.

"It was fun, wasn’t it? Chaotic, but fun." One of the nameless staff said as he raised a glass of beer.

Blue was forced to clink glasses with them in the name of, ’To a fun production.’ The alcohol went in easily through his mouth. But it didn’t ease his discomfort.

All Blue wanted to do was go back home. His home. Winter. Argh.

Blue chugged on the beer and emptied the glass because of that thought, slamming it down on the table with a loud noise. The other people in the table found Blue’s behavior strange but none were in the mood to pry.

Only Adonis cared so much to ask.

"I’ve never seen you drink before. Are you a good drinker?" Adonis was seated across from Blue with his elbows propped on the table as he spoke.

Blue didn’t even give Adonis any face as he poured in another glass of beer, not bothering to eat any of the food laid out on the table.

The atmosphere was very strange, thanks to Blue. It was supposed to be a celebration, wasn’t it? Why did Blue make it seem as though it was gathering of acquiring memory loss?

"Aren’t you going to slow down?" River asked Blue cautiously.

"I’m good." Blue answered curtly.

River nodded, deciding to mind his business. Ken cleared his throat and faced the ’normal’ people in the private room.

"I really like the last scene we shot today. The angle where you fell was very nice." Ken complimented River.

River nodded vigorously.

"Yes. Yes. I was also immersed in it. But what are we going to do? I might have truly fallen for Adonis while filming this movie." River joked, draping an arm around Adonis’s shoulders.

The other people in the private room laughed once they saw Adonis’s reaction to River’s words. His face crumpled up and he threw River’s hand away as though it carried a contagious disease.

"Keep your distance." Adonis shifted away from River after saying those words, causing more laughter to bubble in the room.

At this time, Blue had totally zoned out of the conversation going on around him as he was fully immersed in drinking his alcohol and making the most of his situation.

This was the end. In a few months after the movie had gone through editing, copyright authorizations, and fully premiered with publicity, he’d have nothing to do with any of the cast or crew.

He hadn’t made friends with them. Even keeping a straight face and exchanging polite words with the Alphas on set had taken a huge toll on him.

Blue only wanted to retreat to a place where there was no one else after all of this. But in the picture he was painting in his mind, there was always someone other than him in it.

"... I’ve never indulged in any work place love ever since I started acting, but for this production, someone took advantage of me."

Blue happened to tune back into the conversation going on around him at the exact moment Adonis said those words. However, Blue pretended not to hear them as he drank the alcohol in his hand.

He was starting to feel tipsy. It seems like his tolerance had worn out. He had always been a good drinker. It was weird for him to get ditzy after what, 4 to 5 bottles of beer?

"Um... Adonis. I don’t think now is the time for you to..." Ken trailed off before completing what he wanted to say, seeing as Adonis had already gotten up to his feet.

River, at the other side of Adonis, facepalmed himself internally.

"Blue?" Adonis called out, stepping away from his chair.

Reflexively, Blue lifted his head to look at who called out to him. Once he saw that it was Adonis, features gradually contorted to form a sour expression.

Feeling like he could say anything and get away with it, Blue said, "Why are you always trying to talk to me? Can’t you see that I dislike you immensely??"

The people in the private room were taken aback by the sudden change in Blue’s demeanor as he had just spoken angrily without even hearing what Adonis wanted to say.

"That’s not the case for me. If you don’t know yet, I’ll tell you now—I like you immensely." Adonis spoke with an entitled tone as though confessing his feelings out loud was some kind of achievement and Blue was privileged to receive it.

"Huh?" was Blue’s initial reaction to Adonis’s confession.

Blue was struck with confusion and he had just received the first official confession in his life. People didn’t normally confess for obvious reasons.

Even Winter, whom he had been with for almost two years, hadn’t ever officially confessed to him. If Winter ever used the words, ’like’ or ’love’, in reference to Blue it was only in passing and never admitted directly.

"I said I like you. Would you like to date me?" Adonis said straightforwardly.

"No." Blue responded instantly.

Just because he was receiving an official confession for the first time didn’t mean he was going to accept it. Regardless of the fact that it was from Adonis.

"What? Why?" Adonis raised his voice, clearly baffled by being rejected by Blue.

"Didn’t you hear what I just said? I dislike you. Why would I even want to date you? I already have–"

"You already have what? You and Winter aren’t together again, right?" Adonis cut into Blue’s words without patience.

If Blue’s expression was sour before, it had become angry after hearing Adonis’s nonsense words.

The other people in the room couldn’t stop the gasps that escaped from their mouths after registering Adonis’s words in their ears.

It was not public news that Blue and Winter weren’t together anymore. And if there was to be any reason for why they weren’t together anymore, wouldn’t it have something to do with the fact that Blue and Adonis were allegedly having an affair?

There were so many twists in the lives of the three people.

"Shut the fuck up." Blue finally spoke up after a moment passed, slowly rising up from his chair.

Thankfully, it was an intimidating movement and had not been screwed up because of the amount of alcohol in Blue’s system causing him to see double and feel light.

"Why should I shut up? I just confessed to you. You’re supposed to–"

"I’m not supposed to do anything. Newsflash, it’s not an Omega’s obligation to accept any useless confession thrown their way." Blue spoke with a sharp tone.

Without waiting for Adonis to come up with a response, Blue continued speaking, a thrilling sensation coursing through his veins.

"You have to be one of the dumbest Alphas I’ve ever come across, and trust me, when I say this—I have met a lot of dumb Alphas. You must be stupid. Utterly stupid to think that you have done right over me and my decisions just because-ugh." Blue gagged midway his savage words.

He covered his mouth with his palm, then threw a cold glare Adonis’s way before suddenly rushing out of the private room to the nearest restroom.

Blue puked a little and washed his mouth and face. He stood in front of a mirror, grabbing onto the sink counter.

"What the fuck?" Blue asked himself, wiping the water beads off his face.

What the fuck to the confession he just received and the puking and his state.

Why was his life so weird and complicated? Blue was so tired, he just wanted to rest in Winter’s arms?

"You stupid idiot. Why are you still thinking about that Alpha?" Blue suddenly heard a voice awfully similar to his own voice.

His brows furrowed.

"What? Aren’t you over him?" Blue heard the voice again and realized that it was coming from his own reflection on the mirror.

’Maybe I’m drunker than I thought.’ Blue thought to himself, touching his forehead.

At the same time, he sensed his pheromones floating in the air and the back of his neck growing itchy.

"Fuck. Not now." Blue said to himself.

He could sense his own reflection in the mirror look at him with scorn.

"Shut up." Blue found himself speaking to his reflection on the mirror.

"You’re so pathetic. How did you let this happen to you? Tch. What am I even saying? You’ve always been like this—"

Smash!

Blue punched the mirror in a fit of anger and walked out of the restroom with shaky legs. Once outside, he realized that his knuckles were bruised and bleeding. And the scent of his pheromones grew stronger in the air, finding out an outlet through his bruises.

Blue hadn’t even begun to regret his foolishness when he felt a dark presence loom in front of him.
