Chapter 33: 32 | Dominating

"Kiss me..." Blue pleaded with Winter. His eyes were moist and his lips were bright red and puckered-up. Blue had hooked his small body around Winter’s large frame, rubbing himself against the Winter.

"Blue, stop it. You’re not in your right mind now. You’ll regret this." Winter spoke with a desperate and panicked tone, trying to separate himself from Blue. But Blue stuck to him like a parasite, not budging an inch.

"I won’t regret it." Blue said with firm resolve, though his eyes were hazy and he was clearly not in the right mind to be making ’firm resolves.’

"Blue, you—"

Blue captured Winter’s mouth in a kiss as soon as he opened it to speak.

Forty five minutes earlier:

Blue and Adam strutted into Berryblast, both wearing eye-catching outfits. Though they weren’t regulars, they were treated like regulars as people parted the way for them as they walked.

The club was moderately occupied. It smelled like alcohol and bad decisions, welcoming Blue with his favorite things. Blue and Adam headed to the counter to get drinks.

They hadn’t even ordered anything yet when Alphas began to flock over to them. However, it was much too early for shenanigans. So Blue’s icy look drove them away as quickly as they came.

None of the Alphas were brave enough to stand up to Blue for blocking both himself and Adam from getting action. Adam quickly ordered drinks for himself and Blue.

The bartender got to work quickly. It was no new rule that bartenders and club staff were always Betas. Hiring an Alpha or an Omega in a club was against the law. Surely, there was no need to explain the reason behind such a law.

Their drinks were served quickly and Adam was the first to empty his glass. The alcohol took effect as quickly as it got into his system.

"Fuck. There aren’t any hot Alphas around here." Adam said with a disappointed tone, using his eyes to rate the Alphas that were standing away from them, hoping to get a shot with them.

His lips curled in disappointment before he met Blue’s judging look.

"What?" Adam asked Blue.

Blue didn’t respond immediately. He first took two sips of his drink before clearing his throat to speak. The bar area of Berryblast was constructed in such a way wherein the sounds made from the dancing area of the club couldn’t be heard all that well—

Meaning, it was a good place to speak without needing to yell before the other party would be able to hear what a person was saying. Most clubs needed to be built this way, Blue thought.

"Why are you truly looking for a hookup? I thought you had something with that guy." Blue questioned, despite his personal rule of never getting involved in other people’s businesses.

However, this was Adam. Blue could pry into Adam’s life all he wanted to. Adam always did the same to him anyways.

"What guy?" Adam responded with a stroke of confusion on his face.

"The new guy at the Empowerment club. The one who always hangs around Winter."

Blue’s last statement came out from his mouth before he even got a chance to review them. Why had he mentioned Winter’s name? What did that guy have to do with anything?!

Thankfully, Adam did not notice anything wrong with Blue’s statement. He only sighed and said, "He’s not really my type."

To these words, Blue raised a brow in disbelief. Any Alpha who was tall and handsome was Adam’s type. He hardly even cared about the Alphas’ personality. Which was why he had a very messy history of relationships.

"He’s not as dominating as a Dominant Alpha should be." Adam explained with a disinterested tone, then ordered for two more drinks.

Blue thought about what Adam said. As dominating as a Dominant Alpha should be... What did that mean?

’I thought I told you not to treat me as if you’re the one doing me a favor.’

Those words suddenly echoed inside Blue’s head and his grip on the glass he was holding tightened considerably.

Fuck. That guy was annoyingly always in his head, Blue thought. But it was as easy to stop thinking about him as it was easy to think of him in the first place.

Blue scraped out Winter’s image in his head and replaced it with the person that was always hanging around him—Logan Turner.

For an Alpha, and a dominant one at that, Logan didn’t really have a strong Alpha presence. He gave the aura of an easygoing Beta.

Blue couldn’t believe that he was thinking about an Alpha so casually, but it was the truth of the matter. If he hadn’t sensed his pheromones the first day they interacted, Blue would’ve lived on, believing that Logan was a Beta.

"He really likes you though." Blue said with a passing tone.

Adam made a sound that could be mistaken for an arrogant scoff before he said, "Who doesn’t like me?"

Just then, an Alpha swaggered over to them. He was at least 180 cm tall and he had broad shoulders. He was wearing a fancy informal gray suit with a dark blue shirt underneath that the first three buttons were not fastened.

Blue immediately began to glare at the Alpha even before he reached them and said anything. However, to Blue’s disappointment, the Alpha did not cower back in fear and go away like the other Alphas before him.

He reached Blue and Adam, then placed his hand on the counter lazily and said, "Good evening, hotties."

Blue almost puked inside his own mouth. He opened his mouth to go off on the Alpha but Adam flashed an inviting smile at the Alpha, revealing that he was interested in him.

Blue got the urge to facepalm himself. Adam was really bad when it came to stuff like this. But since Adam was his own person, Blue decided to mind his business and turn his head away.

"Good evening, handsome." Adam said back to the Alpha.

One would think that the tag, ’handsome’, was some grand title with the way the Alpha’s shoulders puffed up to the sky after hearing it in reference to himself.

"I’m Leo. What are your names?" he said, looking between Blue and Adam.

Blue wanted to ask what gave the Alpha the audacity to inquire about his identity but Adam’s vocal cords seemed to be incredibly active tonight.

"I’m Adam. And he’s Blue." Adam introduced the two of them to Leo.

Irritatingly, Leo licked his bottom lip after receiving that introduction and focused on Blue, saying, "Blue... That’s a very interesting name."

The sides of Blue’s lips fell into a frown at the same time his eyes drew into a glare directed at Leo. It seemed like Leo was here for him and not Adam. Since that was the case, Blue decided that there was no reason for him to hold back anymore.

As Blue opened his mouth to rain the harshest of insults on Leo, someone said:

"Hey! What are you two doing here?"
