Chapter 160: Do You Want To Kill Your Husband?

Dean was panting while he looked for Rita.

"Where is she? How can she walk that fast in heels?" he complained with a furrowed face.

’Is she really jealous with me meeting Denise?’ he thought in disbelief. But he was hoping Denise was right. He would be happy if Rita was really jealous.

He reached their company building and pulled his phone from his pocket to dial Rita’s number but there’s no answer.

"Have you seen Rita?" he asked to his secretary that he met on the hallway.

"Sir, she just passed by with a car key on her hand so I asked her where she is going in case you will ask. She said, she’ll be out and will call you directly. I think she’s heading to the parking lot," said his secretary.

She must have got one of the company’s car keys because they always went to the office together and same when going back at the mansion.

Dean rushed to the elevator exclusive only for the parking lot. He saw Rita as soon as the elevator opened so he ran towards her.

Rita went inside the car and did not notice Dean who was rushing towards her.

So she was startled that her face paled when she heard the loud thud of the car door. She was ready for a defensive move when she saw the familiar face.

"What’s wrong with you? Are you trying to scare me?!" she hissed to Dean who seemed to be out of breath.

Dean’s face was crumpled as he calmed his breathing...

Rita arched an eyebrow while she stared at him. She did not want to say a word and embarrass herself but her mouth seemed to be moving on its own.

"What are you doing here? Don’t you have an important meeting right now? I asked you to have lunch with me and you said you have an important meeting so why are you here? Don’t tell me you leave early because I happened to be at the same area?" she said with an irritated voice, she was sulking.

Dean who was still trying to normalize his breathing suddenly smiled.

Rita seeing that smile got irritated more. She was pissed off at that moment.

For the first time in her life, she had asked the guy to grab lunch together but he said he have an important meeting with someone and only to find out that he was referring to Arya’s friend that he got to dance with during that masquerade event.

She already searched that girl before and she did not like her. That woman even kissed her brother Shawn and she was sure that she’s the type of girl who would go to any handsome man that she’ll like.

’Wait, when did she become narrow-minded like now?’ she scolded herself silently for judging someone like that and she hated that. Her mind was not usually clouded by without analyzing the whole thing. And right now, she made a remark and judged someone because of a simple scene.

She heard Dean exhaled loudly before he speaks, "I think you misunderstood the situation. There’s nothing going on between me and Denise... but wait... do I really need to explain myself? I mean are you jealous ahm... well... because if you are jealous I will gladly explain everything."

She saw Dean grinned, that was his wicked grin and it was plastered all over his face. So she quickly opposed the idea he was having.

"Who said I’m jealous. Who cares? I don’t care... You do what you want to do. That’s your life. Why are you here anyway? Go back with your important meeting! And leave me alone!" jeered Rita.

"Why I’m here? You’re my wife and personal assistant and you’re going out without my permission right? And what? You don’t care about me? Ouch! That really hurts you know..." Dean replied with a creased forehead.

He looked intently to Rita. It was a look that could penetrate you within and will make you stop breathing.

He leaned forward, closer to her and said, "Do you know or even have an idea what’s that only thing I want and I want to do?"

Rita’s face reddened. Dean’s face was so close to hers, an inch away only. She could hear the thumping sound and she was not sure if it’s coming from her own chest. She felt nervous...

Rita quickly placed her palm to Dean’s face.

"Stop! Don’t you dare move or I’ll kick your groin!" she said with a panic tone.

Dean hid his crazy smile because he knew Rita won’t be able to kick him with her current position inside the car and it would be too impossible seeing the pencil cut skirt she was wearing.

"Alright kick it... If I become an impotent husband, it’s definitely your fault so you have to take responsibility for me for the rest of your life because no one will accept an impotent man." He said in a serious tone trying to hide his grin.

Rita did not respond and Dean took the opportunity to close the gap between them and sealed Rita’s lips before she could even react.

Rita was totally caught off guard by that attack but her body was contradicting her mind. She was supposed to push Dean said by her mind.

However, her body was moving on its own. Instead of pushing him, her arms unconsciously wrapped on Dean’s neck pulling him closer instead while her lips answered him with the same passion as he was giving her.

Dean moved and accidentally pushed the horn and that loud sound made Rita to realize what’s happening so she abruptly pushed Dean away from her.

Boog!

Dean banged at the passenger’s side door.

"Urghh... Aww.." Dean cried and he looked hurt... Rita’s face was shocked.

Did she push him that hard but she was sure she did not use that much force in pushing Dean but he looked hurt so she quickly checked him.

"I’m sorry, I did not mean to..." she said. Her eyes were full of concern.

Dean winked at her and jokingly said, "Wifey, do you want to kill your husband?"

He tried to move but... "I think you injured my right arm, bring me to the hospital, to our family doctor." Dean said.

Rita was speechless so she quickly followed and drove Dean to the hospital. She felt guilty that she was quiet the whole time and she failed to notice the playful smile on Dean’s face.
