"Sorry, I just got a little excited," she said while rubbing the back of her neck but became her usual questioning self in seconds.

"When did you start painting? And these instruments. Do you also know how to play these?" she asked me and sat on the floor in front of me. Her eyes are literally twinkling with excitement.

"After mom died, dad shifted my focus towards different activities like painting, playing musical instruments, writing something, or things like that. After that, I never left the paintbrush and the instruments." I went towards a few paintings that were covered and removed the cover of a painting "this is my way of cherishing my mom’s sacrifice" I adored the painting of our family. "Did you like it?" I asked her nervously. I painted a portrait of Aadhya, dee, and myself while dee was in my arms and aadhya was leaning onto me while smiling adoringly at dee. When she didn’t say anything, I nudged her, and that’s when she came to her senses. "So??"

"It’s... it’s. You made me so beautiful," she said while her eyes were still fixed on the painting.
