I ran towards the window and looked around, but I was unable to see any trace of a person there. Someone opened the door, and I ignored it as Gramma’s scent invaded my nose as soon as she entered my room.

"I heard someone’s voice, but when I turned, there was no one", I explained to her, and she huffed.

"As if I am not doing the exact thing. I accepted him. What do you want me to do more than this?" I asked her, and she acted as if she was thinking.

"Maybe really try to invest your true emotions in this relationship. Don’t hide your emotions from him, shout at him if he hurts you, tell him if you liked the kiss, share your concerns with him without thinking anything negative, believe in him and let him place his belief in you, and more importantly love him without thinking of the future" I acted shocked.

"Who are you, and what have you done with my gramma?" I teased her, and she flipped her hair.

"I know I am too awesome to be true..." I rolled my eyes at her acting. "So, tell me, how’s the kiss?’’ Here the creepy Gramma comes."

I am not telling you anything about it," I told her strictly, and she pouted like a kid.

"Oh, come on, I can give you some great kissing tips. I know that you don’t know, but I am a great kisser," I gagged on it.

"Eww... taking kissing tips from my gramma is the last thing that I ever wanted to do" she smirked at my comment, and from her expressions, I knew that she had a befitting comeback, but before she said anything, my mobile started ringing, and Ryan’s name flashed on it. My heart started beating fast only by thinking about it, and Gramma chuckled while shaking her head. I narrowed my eyes at her and answered the call.

"Hello"

"Hi"... he became silent, and I could hear his heavy breathing from another side... {Why is this silence so noisy? Fine, I have already gone mad. I accept it} ... he cleared his throat.

"Few council members are coming to meet you tomorrow" as soon as he said this, I couldn’t help but panic.

"How? Why? Tell them that I am not here, just tell them anything. I didn’t want to meet anyone from the council" I couldn’t help but pace in the room while Gramma sat on the bed enjoying my panic walk.

"There is nothing to worry about, Chicky. I will be there with you." he tried to soothe me.

"Stop pacing" I stopped in my place, and Gramma raised her eyebrow while smirking, "Calm down and don’t panic. Meet them, and I will give you chocolate for every person that you will meet."

"Are you seriously bribing the Luna queen with chocolates, Ryan?" I asked him in disbelief... {I can’t say that the offer is not alluring, though}

"Did it work?" he asked me, and I couldn’t help but picture his smiling face. I took a deep breath to calm myself, and he waited for my response... {he knows me more than I like}

"Two chocolates per person", I negotiated, and Gramma covered her mouth to stop laughing hard.

"That’s too much, Chicky. One chocolate per person, not more, not less... deal?" I pouted and whined, "Your puppy dog eyes are not going to work. We are on call and not video call. Deal?" he again asked, and I gave up.

"Fine, deal", I huffed.

"Good girl. Take care. I will come home earlier," I hummed and cut the call. Gramma started laughing at me, and I glared at her. She got up from the bed and went towards the door.

"Bribing her with chocolates. He does know her very well," I heard her mumble before closing the door, and I can’t help but panic now... I tried to think of an excuse, but nothing came to my mind... {I wanted my wardrobe to turn to the gateway of Narnia}...I groaned ... {it seemed like I badly needed to put a closed sign on my brain}
