Cao Ge tried to dodge, but he wasn’t as quick as the middle-aged man, and ended up being squarely hit. He felt dazed and nearly lost his footing, staggering towards the nearby drain ditch.

Springing up from the ground, he staggered a bit, clutching his face and yelling angrily, "You...you dare hit me? You really dare hit me?"

"Damn it..." Seeing Cao Ge still on his feet, the middle-aged man charged at him again, aiming for another hit with his shoe.

"Brother, this guy claims he’s from the Beijing-based Cao Family, seeking an audience with Master Xie. I didn’t let him," reported the middle-aged man, quickly stepping forward to meet The First.

After glancing at Cao Ge, The First stepped into the building.

Seeing the security guard treat the middle-aged man with such respect, Cao Ge quickly sprang to his feet and called out, "Hey, wait a minute!"

The First turned around and asked curtly, "Are you talking to me?"

Cao Ge noted The First’s cold demeanor, flinched a little, but managed to say, "Yes, I’m talking to you. Damn, is this how you treat your guests?"

The First coldly smiled and retorted, "Do you think anyone who comes knocking is a guest? By that logic, wouldn’t Master Xie be overrun?"

"Uh, am I just anyone?" Cao Ge ranted, "I’m from the distinguished Cao Family in Beijing, are you guys blind? You dare to treat me so rudely, you dare to throw me into a stinking ditch?"
