If this was just limited to this initial time, then it would be fine. But it isn't.At chapter 18, after he has discovered that a beast tide is about to attack the nearby gathering point where a love interest is, he receives a quest from the system to rescue her with the reward being, basically, a random lootbox. The issue is that the quest grants him an increased level of permissions temporarily as well as the ability to summon a helicopter, whilst again waiving the requirements (having an air field) as soon as the quest starts, not even as rewards. It feels like the system, whenever needed for the plot, will simply waive any requirements and grant him whatever it wants in the guise of a quest. Another small thing, which I'm not sure if it is just how his system is, or if it is translation errors, is that his system just does things as it wants without informing him or letting him choose. In the first chapter it asks him if he wants to summon the soldiers, provides him a cost breakdown and then immediately summons them without any confirmation.The requirement to deploy the MCV (Mobile Construction Vehicle) and barracks is temporarily waived, and soldiers can be directly constructed. The host currently has 1000 initial energy points, and each soldier requires 100 energy points. Does the host want to build soldiers?""A soldier takes one minute to build. It's a good read imo, but don't expect things to be completely logical in terms of how things would work irl. Given his location is constantly being broadcast, it's extremely likely that there would be people abusing that and messing with the show if it actually happened. Also they just allow him to steal and commit crimes whilst letting him keep the money, which wouldn't work at all irl. It's extremely clear in the latest chapters where he straight up Spoilerproperly murders like 15 drug dealers who have taken a family of 4 hostage, whilst the live broadcast remains on and then after is praised by the police for stepping up.I think once you accept these things then you can really enjoy how things play out and how MC plans things and outsmarts the team trying to capture him. Oh so youd have to shut down some part of your brain then for a bit. Guess ill try This is really interesting. The plot, characters, and setting isn’t really crazy or anything but it’s fun to read. Like other people said, it’s really similar to Starting By Acting As A Bank Robber, I Shock The World, but that novel had a terrible rushed ending while this novel has 1000+ chapters so I doubt it’ll end quickly, if anything they’ll probably drag it out endlessly. The premise is that the mc and many other (others aren’t really important) are chose randomly as ‘futigives’ in this show where famous people lead police officers to find them. Everything is live-streamed, including the ‘fugitives’ POV and the famous people’s POV. Of course neither side can view the livestream, and the famous people leading the police officers can only view cameras normal police officers can view. It’s usually pretty simple for the police officers to find them but the mc is different as he got a Peerless Bandit system. This system gives him points to use on skills and physical/intelligence stats for however many shock points he gets from the livestream audience. Thus, the mc needs to act audacious and destroy the police officers and famous people with his intelligence, wit, and skills. That’s how the story has gone for the past 70 chapters, but it seems there’s 1410 chapters, which makes it seem there will be more to the plot later on since this game show isn’t supposed to be that long. So honestly I would recommend this is you don’t want to think too much and want something to read to quickly pass time. Survival game? I rather do science experiments on humans
